Overview

The show at a glance

Editorial pitch

Eddy Piof: The Legend is a retro-futurist cabarock musical where Paris haze, electric mines, pop propaganda, cloning and the Blob threat collide.

The 12 + 1 tableaux move the legend forward in pieces: hits, choruses, stories, propaganda, fall, clone and Blob threat.

The show works on two levels: festive and immediately readable, but also political, satirical and mythological.

Editorial angles

  • An alternate French imaginary where 1960s pop tips into retro-futurism
  • A total form: theatre, singing, bass, keyboard, guitar, percussion and movement
  • A story of celebrity, propaganda and manufactured myth
  • A troupe show where the Blob brings science fiction into cabaret
